Let us know what you and Yuri think of 'A Scanner Darkly', I loved the book. Re the ankle? I know this flies in the face of current medical advice, by my martial arts teacher always said doctors were over-cautious. His approach was that gently using the injured part strengthened it and aided healing. Good luck with the visa extension too.
Btw, is he letting you smoke in the apartment now or are ya just sneaking the odd one in?:)
My weekend? Working on the dead son film treatment thing..which I have been postponing like mad, cos I'm a big jessie and I know it's getting close to the strating to see if the story will work in a script, so part of me is excited that it wlll and fearful that it won't. On top of which, I;m trying not to think that even if it does work it'll just end up being somehting else that sits here gathering dust and garnering no interest.
See, this is somehting else the soap is good for: helping me avoid committing to worthwhile stuff.
You even find that, Dennis? That you're reluctant to emotionally committ to a project, cos if you do it sorta brings other implications for you and your life? Or is that a stupid question?:)
Mostly, I just plunge right into whatever's next on the project list and lose myself in that cos as you say, onwards and upwards. maybe it;ll be betetr when I actaully did the thing out and have anotehr look at it, you know?
